Peace Be With You

May good fortune bestow upon you this Solar and Lunar New Year! Our seasonal newsletter will continue this Spring with the next herbal commentary. At this time, we would like to wish you many blessings for the New Year. This is the year of the Metal or Gold Rabbit, and while there may be conflict this year with the Metal clashing the Wood of the Rabbit, the Rabbit is a peaceful animal, and by the end of the year, peace should reign.

This year Red Tree Wellness, in keeping with celebrating our roots in Chinese Medicine and culture, will be having a month-long celebration of the Lunar New Year in lieu of our annual open house. During the month of February:

  • Try out a session of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture with Chrystal Malapas, RAc for $20 off the regular rate. Facial Rejuvenation is a natural, non-toxic way to not only rejuvenate our skin, but also strengthen the constitutional systems that the affect our health of our skin, our overall vitality and balance.

  • Receive 15% off all retail products! That’s all teas, essential oils, herbal patches, and more! Check out our new ‘Cold & Flu’ section.

  • Curious about what the year of the Metal Rabbit and your life has in store for you? Want to know how to manage the ebbs and flows of life better? Book a detailed Chinese Astrology reading (called “Ba Zi” and known as “Four Pillars) with Sonia Tan. Knowing the quality of the animal sign of the year of your birth is knowing less than 1/8th of your true complete astrological five element energies. Knowing our complete energies empowers us to know how to balance the flow when things are good, and when things are not so good. These energies also are a factor in our future life flow, and knowing them can help us to make more clear decisions that support us in the best way possible. The historical roots of Chinese Medicine come from this very detailed knowledge of the five elements, yin and yang, cycles of change and how it affects our environment, bodies, health, wealth and relationships. Sonia Tan has been studying under a Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology Master for over 2 years now, and is currently offering Chinese Astrology readings at Red Tree Wellness, by a donation of your choosing.

Speaking of the future, Red Tree Wellness wants to empower you! Are you interested in learning about how you can maintain good health at home? Red Tree Wellness is holding a workshop on Moxa Health at Home, by Chrystal Malapas, RAc, where you will learn simple techniques using a herbal stick called Moxa, to treat minor illnesses and maintain strong immunity and vitality. Join us the morning of Saturday, March 5th, 2011 for this workshop. Sign up early to reserve your spot as space is limited. For more information, visit our Continuing Education page and download the Workshop flyer.

Red Tree Wellness wishes you the best of luck and good flow toward whatever your goals may be for this year, and above all, may you be blessed with good health, wealth, and relationships.

Enjoy this time of renewal and celebration!

Good health and happiness to you,
Sonia F. Tan
