Did you know that conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic pain, dysmenorrhea (painful menstrual cramps), cancer and other lingering conditions are often associated with blood stagnation? Within Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Blood Stagnation or Blood Stasis can be simplified to blood that stops flowing in a vessel, an organ, or other tissues. An impaired circulatory system, excess or lack of heat, dehydration, or toxicity (like abnormal pH of the body) can all lead to Blood Stagnation.
