Summer – a time for expand experiences

Summer Solstice is a symbol of the harvest, abundance and fertility. Likewise, the Sun is associated with rebirth and hope.

June 21 marks the Summer Solstice – the beginning of the hottest months of the year in the Northern hemisphere! On that day, the Sun projects its light over the maximum geographical latitude of the Earth. In the Chinese seasonal solar calendar, Summer Solstice marks the half-way point in the Fire, or Summer, season.

Fire is the element or phase associated with the summer in Chinese metaphysics, and is connected primarily to the Heart organ channel. This is the time in natural law the Qi expands and rises, generating and exciting our energy, ideas, fun, joy, inspiration and connections. Go out there and be in harmony with natural law and have fun! It’s flip-flop time!

June Solstice is the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere and the shortest in the southern hemisphere ☀️
