4 tips to survive the summer heat

Summer is synonymous with vacations, spending a lot of time outdoors and enjoying the hot weather. When the heat becomes unbearable, try these these tips and tricks:

  • Drink more water. Hydration in summer is especially important!
  • Avoid showering with cold water. It is best to shower with lukewarm water, which is cool enough to lower body temperature and prevent the body from retaining heat, but won’t cause you to get cold.
  • Hats and breathable clothing. Wear light, loose-fitting and comfortable clothing that helps wick away sweat.
  • Light meals. It will help you fight the heat, stay hydrated and enjoy good health.
