Is the idea of fine thin needles inserted into your body a little worrisome for you to try acupuncture? Then it’s time to try Laser Acutherapy! How “laser acupuncture” or laser acutherapy works is that a cold laser light will penetrate into the skin and with different frequencies and energies to the cells. This will trigger a series of reactions to the brain. The end result is a different way to wake up the body to self-regulate back to normal!

Advantages of laser acupuncture:

  • Completely painless, particular on areas where skin is sensitive to needles
  • Shorter treatment time
  • Less chance of infection particular to people with diabetes mellitus

A few clarifications on the laser device we use, the laser device we use is different from those high power laser used in surgery. We use cold laser which is low power, and will not create any lesion to the body. Also, cold-laser cannot be applied to the skin or organ area where a known tumor exists, so let us know if this is an concern and we will modify the treatment accordingly. While you can receive a little acupuncture at the same time as laser treatments, you can have a laser treatment without any acupuncture at all.

Researches have found the evidence that support laser acupuncture an effect way to treat “myofascial pain, postoperative nausea and vomiting and for the relief of chronic tension headache.”Many more researches are being conducted on laser acupuncture as well.

Improve your energy and mood and get rid of those aches and pains with laser acutherapy! Worry less about the process, and feel better now!
