Sheralyn has spent years studying under various Doctors and Practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Vancouver area. They have taught her various techniques, in a wide variety of health conditions from migraines, fertility, and aiding patients through their chemotherapy/radiation process.
Sheralyn has always been interested in the health care profession and was attending the University of British Columbia, where she had planned on becoming a Physiotherapist. During her studies she suffered from migraines and tried massage, physiotherapy, muscle relaxants and pain medications but nothing seemed to help and the migraines kept returning. Someone had suggested she try acupuncture. She began to receive acupuncture treatments and had immediate relief. After multiple treatments she is now 10+ years migraine free. Her experiences lead her to study Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine where she realized she wanted to learn as much as she could about the field. After University she decided to pursue Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Sheralyn practices the late Dr. Richard Teh-Fu Tan’s Balance method. She has completed his basic courses: 1,2,3 Balance Method, Global Balance, and his Advanced courses including Seasonal Balance, 12 magical points, Zang-Fu meridian conversion. Other studies include infertility and endocrinology, breast cancer and the anti-inflammatory diet. She believes in constantly furthering her knowledge about the amazing health field of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
